Delivery Manager
Job Description: SC Eligible Or Active SC Candidates Hybrid Working Model Travel to Mancheter, UK ( 2 Weeks per day for initial 4 weeks then 7-10 days per Month after that)
As a member of this community, you will be accountable for one of seven rainbow teams, playing an active part both within your team and as a contributor to the broader delivery community.
- You'll enable a multi-disciplinary team through different phases, as we use fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by UK citizens.
- Simplified complex problems into smaller, manageable deliverables for your team
- Agile Leadership: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and guide teams through the product lifecycle.
- Blocker Removal: Identify, track, and mitigate risks, acting as the team's buffer to remove obstacles that slow delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Embed regular feedback and use delivery insights and metrics to refine workflows and iterate prototype
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to articulate technical value to non-digital stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate and prioritize backlog items to keep the team focused on what delivers the most user value.
- 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in delivery, Agile, or project/application management.
- Strong practical background in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or traditional project management, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor and encourage teams to track delivery health using KPIs, velocity metrics, and trend analysis
- Experience with working and managing Rainbow Teams. And tracking and resolving cross team dependencies.

- Worked in environment which focusses on user needs and not just story points or features.
- Knowledge of GDS standards and experience of working with multidisciplinary roles
- Domain knowledge – central government ways of working / Caseworking / complex evolving environment
- Experience in Pega would be added advantage
