Delivery Manager
About Summize
We're an ambitious legal tech scale-up on a mission to help businesses work faster and smarter with contracts. With offices in Manchester (UK), Boston, and San Diego (US), we're growing quickly and making significant strides across the Atlantic.
We’ve achieved five years of consistent growth, built a product loved by users, and fostered a culture focused on personal development and high-quality work. That’s Summize in a nutshell.
The Role
As Delivery Manager at Summize, you’ll bridge product, engineering, DevOps, and customer-facing teams, ensuring seamless delivery without unnecessary bureaucracy. This is the first Delivery Manager role at the company, so we’re looking for someone passionate about defining this role from the ground up! It’s a hands-on position ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and thrives on execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, and DevOps teams
- Drive execution of initiatives from planning through to implementation and release
- Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
- Facilitate lightweight planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication without excessive process overhead
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum
- Support development teams in improving ways of working, operational efficiency, and decision-making
- Apply pragmatic Delivery Management methodologies—we’re not looking for an Agile evangelist; rather, someone who knows what works best when
- Provide clear reporting on delivery status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
- Balance speed, quality, and business impact in a rapidly changing environment

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
