About The Role
Vortex, a specialist CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) rehabilitation contractor, is seeking an experienced and proactive Delivery Manager to oversee the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across the South of the UK. This key operational role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and support functions, you will play a central role in driving performance, managing resources, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of multiple CIPP and drainage rehabilitation projects from inception through to completion
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and operational resources
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, and performance against key targets
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery
- Work closely with operational and engineering teams to optimise project performance
- Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and maintained appropriately
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
- Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed to client specifications
- Support commercial teams with variations, quotations, and project reporting
- Lead project review meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes
- Mentor and support supervisors and site teams
- Represent Vortex professionally in all clients and project-related communications

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Delivery Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience within drainage, utilities, civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and project programmes
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Full UK driving license
- SMSTS or equivalent safety qualification (desirable)
