Delivery Manager - Data Centres (AI Focused)

The Role
We are seeking a Delivery Manager to own the creation and co-ordination of high specification new builds and refits, ensuring smooth handover and launch into Operations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Partner with the Operations team to execute new deployments and maintain the trust of stakeholders and customers, ensuring business continuity and growth.
- Install and commission new facilities across Kao Data’s data centre sites.
- Communicate clearly with external teams and attract top proposals and contractors.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from inception to transition and learning, ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout.

About The Role (Key Responsibilities)
The Delivery Manager will oversight end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with programme, cost, and quality objectives. Responsibilities include:
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage multiple data centre projects, maintaining updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
- Executive Reporting: Create weekly/monthly updates for executive reviews, presenting information clearly to support decision-making.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, operations, design, and construction teams to develop and maintain capital replacement programmes.
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Implement multi-phased development plans to meet time, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage workstreams (SMEs) and dependencies in project planning.
- Cost & Budget Management: Track project budgets vs. spend, collate scope documents for external professional services.
- Provider Management: Lead, monitor, and manage design, construction, and commissioning teams. Facilitate procurement and cost estimates.
- Meetings & Coordination:
- Chair weekly internal meetings (design/construction) reviewing progress.
- Attend project coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and teams.
- Compliance & Points of Escalation: Ensure environmental/sustainability goals are met; manage change control processes; lead deployment testing/acceptance, and transition to Operations.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure IMS (Integrated Management System) compliance aligns with EHS, security, and quality standards.
- Procurement Support: As needed, assist in RFP/RFI responses, focusing on procurement, scheduling, and cost optimization.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Manage site access, security, and submittals.
- Risk & Continuous Improvement: Learn from lessons beyond individual projects, apply insights to other olien-apl administrative dronesg processes and policies.

What We’re Looking For
The perfect candidate will:
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience managing complex projects (Capital Works, new builds, site refurbishments) from conception through to transition into Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of data centre infrastructure, standards, and mission-critical environment demands.
- Professional experience (or MBA/MSc) in Construction/Delivery Management, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Proven track record with Lump Sum, Construction Management, and Design & Build delivery processes.
- Experience with ALIGN or other suited methodologies, and experience managing substrate control.
- Preferred experience working in embedded systems, telecoms, critical infrastructure, FM Strategic Design and Plan analytical.
- PEB, DCMP, DCME qualification or equivalent (military/embedded electrical systems knowledge) communire compulsory.
- Excel & PowerPoint proficiency, strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Cost management, Board meetings (over+10K budget) Ostentatious financial analysis correlates nanostructure accuracy.
- Strong possibilities with labour lists for travel across multiple design sites, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have:
- Strong track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- An accounting background with minimal focus being unconventional liabilities and capital expenditure reports.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for hybrid org. environments with enterprise-scale faciltiess.
- Preference will be given to Microsoft 365 certified scores on pre-selection.
- Proven ability to deliver and attend monthly leadership courses.
