Your Role
This role involves working with one of our key public sector clients to lead a high-profile delivery team. The focus will be on enabling the transformation of complex, large-scale government services, ensuring continuity, security, and scalability while supporting long-term modernisation objectives.
The Delivery Manager will be required to manage complex problems using agile tools and techniques, alongside more complicated challenges that require traditional programme and project planning approaches. This balance is essential to support multidisciplinary teams in identifying effective solutions, while also planning for scale, governance, and delivery assurance across the wider programme.

This Position Requires
- Agile Delivery Expertise
- Leading delivery teams using agile principles, translating strategic product and programme roadmaps into clear, deliverable workstreams.
- Traditional Programme Planning Skills
- Managing critical dependencies, milestones, risks, and constraints within a complex government programme involving multiple interdependent components.
- Strong Coordination and Stakeholder Management
- Working closely with engineering teams, policy and operational stakeholders, and programme leadership to ensure delivery aligns with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements, and user needs.
- Central Government or a strong Consultancy background
- Strong knowledge of GDS and experience working within UK central government.
