As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Delivery Manager to join our established and highly regarded Delivery team. This role suits someone who enjoys leading complex technology programmes, working across multiple teams and suppliers, and ensuring delivery stays focused on outcomes rather than just plans. As a Delivery Manager at UBDS, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of technology projects and programmes from initiation through to closure. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams and third-party suppliers to coordinate work across a range of enterprise technology domains. You’ll bring structure, transparency and momentum to delivery, adapting your approach to suit different technologies, operating models and public sector environments. What You’ll Do Lead and manage technology-focused projects and client engagements end to end. Define delivery outcomes, success criteria, scope, milestones and delivery plans aligned to business goals. Deliver projects across a range of enterprise technology areas, including: Microsoft 365 (collaboration, productivity, tenant migrations and adoption) Infrastructure services (networking, hosting, connectivity and cloud foundations) ServiceNow and ITSM tooling implementations or improvements End User Services / Compute, including device rollouts and modern workplace programmes Cloud Transformations & Migrations across Azure & AWS. Identity and Access Management solutions Cyber Security initiatives and controls Build strong working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, customers and third-party suppliers. Put in place appropriate delivery governance, reporting, financial controls and risk management. Apply suitable delivery and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid), tailoring them to the engagement. Manage delivery to time and budget, including fixed-price engagements. Proactively manage risks, issues and changes in scope, proposing pragmatic solutions. Provide leadership, coaching and motivation to delivery teams, creating clarity and confidence throughout delivery. What We’re Looking ForDelivery & Technology Experience 2-4+ years’ experience in a Delivery Manager or Project Manager role. Proven experience delivering technology projects in enterprise environments. Experience managing delivery budgets and financial reporting. A strong track record of delivering agreed outcomes and benefits for clients. Experience working in public sector environments, with an understanding of governance, assurance and delivery constraints. Skills & Ways of Working Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively across business, technology and operational teams. Confidence influencing stakeholders and driving delivery in complex environments. Comfortable working in a self-directed and proactive way, identifying issues early and taking ownership. Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
