Your new company
My client is a well-established and award-winning financial services organisation that plays a key role in the UK insurance market. Supporting millions of customers nationwide, the business provides a range of personal insurance products and is recognised for its customer-first approach, strong reputation and continued investment in technology and digital transformation. With a collaborative culture and a genuine focus on innovation, it offers the opportunity to be part of a business where technology is seen as a strategic enabler of future growth.
Your new role
This role is about far more than project plans and status updates. Sitting at the centre of a growing data function, you'll be the person who brings people, priorities, and delivery together. Working closely with Product Owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape and drive a portfolio of data initiatives that support smarter decision-making across the organisation.
No two days will look the same. One moment you'll be coordinating activity across multiple delivery teams, the next you'll be working with stakeholders to unblock challenges, manage dependencies, and keep priorities aligned. You'll be the driving force behind ensuring the right people are focused on the right work at the right time, maintaining momentum while providing clear visibility on progress, risk, and delivery outcomes.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, building strong relationships and bringing structure to complexity. You'll play a key role in ensuring data initiatives move from concept to reality, helping the business unlock the full value of its data while influencing how future delivery is shaped.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll bring a proven background in delivery management, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, balance competing priorities, and keep complex initiatives moving forward. You'll be someone who can quickly build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders, confidently engaging with both technical teams and senior business leaders to drive alignment and maintain momentum.
You'll ideally have experience delivering within a data-focused environment, with an understanding of areas such as data platforms, reporting, analytics, or data pipelines. More importantly, you'll know how to bring structure to ambiguity, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery remains on track in a fast-paced setting.
This role would suit a strong organiser and natural communicator who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes, and taking ownership of delivery. You'll be comfortable challenging where needed, providing clear direction, and ensuring teams remain focused on achieving shared goals while maintaining a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
