Retail Banking Delivery Manager – London

Role Summary

We are seeking a Retail Banking Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex banking transformation programmes across retail, SME and core banking domains. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery outcomes across multi‑location delivery teams, working seamlessly across the UK and nearshore units including Poland, Spain, Brazil and others. Acting as a hands‑on delivery leader, the role ensures programmes are aligned to GFT’s delivery standards while meeting client‑specific expectations and outcomes. The Delivery Manager will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to set clear delivery direction, drive execution excellence, and contribute to shaping future retail banking transformation programmes.

Role Responsibilities

Role purpose

Hands-on delivery leader responsible for end-to-end execution of complex banking and financial services transformation programmes.

  • Strong focus on retail, SME, core and adjacent corporate banking change agendas.
  • Acts as a bridge between strategy, technology and execution – shaping, mobilising and delivering large-scale programmes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multi-workstream transformation programmes across retail and core banking.
  • Own programme governance, financials, RAID, dependencies and outcomes.
  • Work closely with clients (CIO, COO, Transformation Leads) to co-create delivery approaches and execution plans.
  • Drive hands-on delivery – stepping into detail where required to remove blockers and assure outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales to shape opportunities, define scope, commercial models and delivery plans.
  • Mobilise and lead cross-functional delivery teams across onshore and nearshore locations.
  • Ensure regulatory, risk and quality standards expected within Tier 1 banking environments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
