The Opportunity â¨
Weâre seeking a Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Office within Tech, Data & AI, leading impactful tech and business change initiatives for our customers and partners.
This role calls for someone who excels in:
- Turning chaotic complexity into clear, orderly delivery
- Building trusted stakeholder relationships
- Driving high-quality outcomes in a dynamic, collaborative environment
The key responsibilities include managing initiatives across football, retail, financial services and more, while ensuring they deliver maximum value for our millions of Avios members worldwide. Occasional travel to Spain may be required.
What Youâll Be Doing đ
Strategic Delivery Leadership
- Own multiple end-to-end projects, ensuring delivery on time, on scope and on budget.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Customer Operations to translate ideas into impact.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Lead governance meetings, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues where necessary.

Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work seamlessly with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering teams and vendors across Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall environments.
- Adapt to changing business needs, managing dependencies and obstacles.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to evolving delivery best practices, fostering innovation and exploring AI-enabled solutions.
What We Need From You âĄ
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering technology and business transformation projects from initiation to implementation.
- Strong track record in managing multiple concurrent projects while balancing priorities.
- Expertise in project planning, scope management and budget oversight.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with experience in technical and business teams.
- Ability to mitigate risks, resolve issues and manage dependencies.
- Experience working with cross-functional and third-party teams.
- Adaptability to dynamic priorities in hybrid delivery models.
- Fluent English and business-level Spanish (spoken and written).
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
Nice-to-Have (Not Required but Valued)
- Industry experience in travel, loyalty or digital products.
- Exposure to AI or AI-enabled solutions.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or SAFe).
