Delivery and Performance Manager
Location: Leeds/Dublin Hyrbrid
Role Purpose
The Delivery and Performance Manager is accountable for driving effective and consistent software delivery across their Domain, encouraging an environment where teams are engaged, supported, and set up to succeed. They provide oversight and clarity through appropriate tooling, ensuring the right structures, practices, and governance are in place to optimise the end-to-end product and delivery system.
As a key member of the local leadership team, they align perspectives and translate vision, strategy, and desired outcomes into clear, actionable direction, enabling squads to operate autonomously while remaining aligned to broader organisational objectives.
They lead, coach, and support Delivery Leads and squads to perform at their best, driving continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle to support regular value release, increased predictability, and balanced outcomes across product, engineering, quality assurance, service operations, and architecture, while fostering a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative culture.
Accountabilities
Team Leadership & Development
People manager for 2- 3 Delivery Leads, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities. Set high standards of execution and accountability through knowledge sharing and role modelling. Acts as a mentor and role model for standard processes in delivery management.
Continuous Improvement
Identifies and addresses opportunities for improving ways of working within Sportsbook Domain within Global Sportsbook & Trading Encourages collaboration across teams Global Sportsbook and Trading and cultivates a culture of knowledge sharing. Work with Head of Product & Head of Engineering to identify and resolve delivery inefficiencies within teams. Embed agile procedures and champion workload balancing, dependency management, Delivery best practice and waste reduction across x area. Evaluated and evolved team structures, operating models to improve scalability, delivery effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration as organisational needs changed. Track and manage delivery performance, taking action when teams deviate from agreed targets (e.g., cycle time, product lead time).

Experience
Led Agile delivery across cross-functional engineering and product teams, ensuring timely execution of roadmap commitments and alignment with business priorities. Established delivery metrics and reporting frameworks using cycle time, lead time, and throughput data to identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Partnered with senior collaborators across Product and Engineering to remove blockers, optimise workflows, and improve cross-team collaboration. Championed Agile best practices and coached teams on delivery excellence, resulting in improved execution consistency and operational efficiency. Provided strategic delivery leadership across multiple teams, shaping delivery direction, influencing organisational priorities, and engaging with senior partners to support effective decision-making and execution.
