Location: London Role Type: Permanent Work Setup: Hybrid (1–2 days in the office)


The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Delivery Project Manager to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.

As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and be deployed on an assignment within our clients’ organisations. In return, we will provide you with ongoing training and professional support.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global business, delivering top-tier service to our blue-chip clients.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across business and technology initiatives within wider transformation programmes.
  • Take ownership of active projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate governance and controls.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions (RAID).
  • Produce high-quality reporting and presentations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with programme teams, business leaders, and technical specialists to ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive project outcomes in a fast-paced environment, proactively managing challenges, risks, and evolving priorities.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience delivering complex business and technology projects within the insurance sector, ideally in a London Market environment.
  • Strong hands-on project management capability, including ownership of in-flight projects, driving delivery, and implementing governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders, executives, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing RAID processes, project controls, reporting, and executive-level updates in large-scale programmes.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving environments, adept at managing ambiguity, challenging stakeholders, and resolving delivery issues proactively.
  • A professional project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or PMP), with exposure to exposure management or insurance transformation programmes being advantageous.
