About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary

Oversee daily operations of a delivery station, ensuring efficient and timely processing and dispatch of packages for JD.COM INTERNATIONAL UK LTD. This role involves leading a team to meet operational targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
  • Manage daily inbound and outbound package flow, ensuring accurate sorting, scanning, and loading processes.
  • Monitor and optimize station performance against key metrics such as on-time delivery, package handling efficiency, and safety compliance.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, quality control standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and improve workflow.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of package movement and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., logistics, customer service) and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the delivery station.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a logistics, warehousing, or delivery operation.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, including sorting, scanning, and dispatching.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
  • A commitment to safety and quality, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
