Job Summary
The Delivery Team Member will serve as the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Team customer interface during deliveries. Key duties include:
- Preparing equipment for deployment
- Training and issuing synthetic wrap systems to users
- Liaising with on-site customer personnel
- Monitoring equipment performance in-use while incorporating role-playing when customer support is unavailable
- Assisting in post-delivery recovery, including equipment checks for damage andFUNCTIONAL use, and returning it securely
Delivery Team Members must:
- Be computer literate, proficient in fault-finding, and troubleshooting minor hardware/software issues in 1st-line support role
- Ensure all interactions with CDUK’s accredited simulation networks comply with SCOPIC 2 SyOps.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team Collaboration
- Adhere to allocated work schedules and shift rosters as directed by the Delivery Team Leader
- Interface with customer personnel and exercise participants within guidelines provided

Operational Hours & Flexibility
- Standard hours: 37.5 hours/week, unless contract specifies alternate terms
- Core hours managed by line manager
- Exercise periods demand heightened operational availability here. You may be required to work extended hours during training activities, with compensatory time/days accounted for through time-off-in-lieu (TOIL), managed with ocurre’s Operations Manager
Training & Engagement
- Deliver role-specific training for CDUK LVC systems to end-users
- Master all synthetic wrap capabilities—training, fault diagnosis, briefing, and exercise stimulation when instructed
- Available to attend briefing sessions during active shifts, per Delivery Team Leader’s direction
Customer Servicing
- Available to modify simulated training environments to optimize training outcomes, within resource constraints (software, hardware, personnel)
Maintenance & Preparedness
- Ensure equipment deployment aligns with SQEP standards, adhering to subject matter expertise protocols
- Compliance core with Cubic’s values—adherence to the Code of Conduct, Quality, Security, OHSE, and local policies is mandatory
Additional Responsibilities
The role may require ad-hoc duties assigned by your manager, contingent on operational or business needs.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Professional Experience
- Prior experience in a training role
- Simulation role experience, with proven hands-on experience using simulation systems

Education & Training
- Graduate of Non-Commissioned Officer training, or equivalent national/military course
- Trade technician certification, or vocational training specific to defense/engineering disciplines within the UK’s armed services
Working Conditions
This role expects travel and field assignments frequently. Key requirements include:
- Fieldwork preparedness—longer working hours during exercise periods and capable of adaptive roles in customer locations
- Post-training monitoring (following on-site deliveries) may occur at assigned Cubic facility but usually is conducted within a building environment
- Flexible access—happy to travel for deployments globally as performance dictates

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team Trust Building skills
- High-level technical and interpersonal written communication—interacting effectively with UK or allied service customers during exercises, coordination, and routine reporting
