Job Summary
The Delivery Team Member will serve as the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) team’s primary customer interface at each deployment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment for deployment
- Training end-users and issuing synthetic wrap capabilities
- Liaising with customer personnel
- Monitoring equipment performance post-use
- In some cases, acting as a role player if the customer lacks staff
- Conducting post-delivery equipment recovery, including functionality checks for damage or misuse
- Returning equipment securely to Cubic’s stores
Core Technical Requirements
- Must be computer literate and capable of 1st-line fault-finding on user access devices
- All access to CDUK’s accredited simulation networks must comply with SCOPIC 2 System Operations (SyOps) standards
Key Responsibilities
Team & Operational Commitment
- Adherence to Scheduling: Follow shift rosters and work allocations under the Delivery Team Leader
- Flexible Work Hours:
- Standard hours: 37.5 per week (unless exempt by special conditions)
- During exercise periods, longer hours may be required. Excess hours will accrue compensatory rest/in lieu (cleared with line manager/operations manager)
- On-Call Availability: Must adapt to operational demands, including weekends and travel during peak activity

Training & Equipment Support
- Provide usage training for CDUK LVC capabilities (role-specific)
- Train users to integrate synthetic wrap equipment in exercises
- Conduct post-delivery functionality checks (detecting misuse/damage)
- Modify deliveries within software, hardware, and personnel constraints to enhance training effectiveness
Customer Liaison & Repetitive Excellence
- Represent the team by attending exercise briefings and planning sessions
- Maintain high proficiency in SQEP (Standardised Quality Environment Process)
- Ensure team deployment is ready and compliant with technical roles
- Uphold Cubic’s values, code of conduct, security, OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental) policies
Diverse Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned by a manager, where necessary
Minimum Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in training roles
- Experience in simulation environments, with demonstrated capability in managing simulation systems

Education & Technical Qualifications
- Graduate of a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) course or equivalent military/national program
- Military vocational engineer or technical education (equivalent to Military Engineering Awareness)
Working Conditions
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Predominantly on-site: Deliveries may require travelling globally
- Field deployment: Occasional need to work outdoors or long hours, often after hours
- Grounded follow-up: Post-training monitoring occurs at Cubic facilities from a stationary location
- Place of Work: Primary, non-delivery work occurs at a Cubic facility
Personality & Skills
- Resilience: Comfortable with unpredictable schedules and frequent travel
- Self-sufficient: Ability to self-motivate while maintaining cohesive team dynamics
- Communication: Strong oral and written skills for briefings, documentation, and coordination
