Job Summary

The Delivery Team Member will act as the Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) team’s primary customer interface at each delivery location. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing equipment before deployment
  • Training and issuing synthetic wrap equipment to users
  • Liaising with customer staff and monitoring equipment performance post-deployment
  • Acting as a role player when the customer lacks available staff (with relevant expertise)
  • Assisting in recovering, inspecting for misuse, and securely returning equipment after deliveries

Key Requirements:

  • Computer literacy with expertise in fault diagnosis, user access devices, and system interaction
  • Compliance with SCOPIC 2 SyOps protocols for CDUK’s accredited simulation networks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Team & Operational Commitments

  • Adhere to shift schedules and operational directives from the Delivery Team Leader
  • Operate within 37.5-hour working weeks (unless otherwise specified)
  • During exercise surges, extend working hours—compensatory rest will be organised with line/operations managers

Training & Liaison

  • Train CDUK LVC system users to operate capabilities according to their role
  • Ensure familiarity with synthetic wrap equipment, focusing on training, fault diagnosis, and live demonstration
  • Attend customer briefings and planning meetings as required

Equipment & Modification

  • Adjust active training deliveries within software, hardware, and personnel constraints to maximise training efficiency
  • Maintain team competency in mission-specific roles

Compliance & Policy Adherence

  • ** adhere strictly** to Cubic’s values, code of conduct, security, and safety policies
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management as needed

Minimum Job Requirements

Experience

  • Prior employment in training or simulation roles
  • Proven operational experience with simulation systems

Education & Certifications

  • Graduate of a:
    • Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) course, or equivalent
    • Military vocational/technical course, or equivalent technical training

Working Conditions

  • Primary role: On-site delivery across specific locations
  • Fieldwork required: Occasional extended hours during operational events
  • Travel: Post-training monitoring occurs from Cubic facilities

Expected Adaptability

  • Willing to work weekends, glob ally, and travel with flexibility
  • Capable of extended hours, rigorous field commitment
  • Must be resilient, self-motivated, with strong communication and teamwork skills

Full-time Employee (Rotating Shift/Field Deployment Focus)
