Delivery Technical Lead

Delivery Technical Lead – Defence

Location: Bristol Working Pattern: Hybrid Eligibility: UK Nationals only (due to clearance requirements)

About the Role

Are you an experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in complex systems engineering delivery? We are seeking a Delivery Technical Lead to take ownership of a major Royal Navy simulation programme. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical leadership across complex system delivery—not infrastructure upgrades or business transformation.

This programme presents a dynamic and evolving environment—ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity, and leads the delivery of end-to-end engineered systems.

The Opportunity

You will act as the technical authority across a large-scale simulator programme, ensuring robust engineering delivery from concept through to acceptance.

  • This role requires hands-on experience delivering complex, multidisciplinary systems, rather than operational support or ERP transformation environments.
  • You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, influencing programme outcomes, and building a capable engineering team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
