Demand Analyst / Project Support Officer
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Salary: Up to £46,000
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

The Role
We're looking for a Demand Analyst / PMO Officer to join a large-scale government programme, supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects within a fast-paced portfolio environment.
This is a governance-focused Demand Analyst / PMO role with responsibility for reporting, demand management, change control, project support, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively and governance standards are maintained.
This is a fully remote position, however applicants must hold active SC Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead PMO activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Coordinate governance meetings and reporting cycles.
- Produce high-quality management information for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain RAID logs, project documentation, and action trackers.
- Support portfolio demand management and prioritisation activities.
- Process and track change requests through agreed governance.
- Produce reports and dashboards using Jira.
- Create executive-level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Analyse project performance using Microsoft Excel.
- Support planning, resource forecasting, and dependency management.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards and governance processes.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Delivery Managers.
- Drive continuous improvement across PMO activities.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong PMO or Senior Project Support experience.
- Experience supporting complex projects or programme portfolios.
- Excellent governance and reporting experience.
- Experience managing change control processes.
- Knowledge of demand management or portfolio planning.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using Jira.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
- Active SC Clearance.
Desirable
- Experience within Central Government or other public sector organisations.
- Agile or PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
- Knowledge of portfolio management frameworks.
- Experience supporting digital transformation or technology programmes.
