Role Purpose The Demand & Capacity Manager ensures alignment between business demand and service/supplier capacity in a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) setting. This role acts as a central coordination point to optimise performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational stability.


Key Responsibilities:

Demand Management

  • Establish and refine demand management processes across all service towers.
  • Capture, qualify, and prioritise business demand requests via structured assessment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align future initiatives, projects, and workload forecasts.
  • Develop short-term, medium, and long-term demand forecasts.
  • Analyse trends to anticipate emerging requirements and mitigate risks to service delivery.

Capacity Management

  • Create and maintain capacity plans for people, processes, technology, and suppliers.
  • Monitor utilization vs. agreed capacity thresholds and targets.
  • Ensure sufficient capacity to support sustained business growth.
  • Identify capacity risks and bottlenecks to drive proactive remediation.
  • Coordinate with providers and leaders to resolve gaps or constraints.

SIAM Service Integration

  • Embed demand and capacity expertise across multi-supplier service ecosystems.
  • Ensure accurate data flows for forecasting and resource planning.
  • Harmonise forecasting methodologies across internal towers to improve visibility.
  • Facilitate cross-supplier planning and manage dependencies.

Governance & Reporting

  • Produce regular demand and capacity reports, dashboards, and executive briefs.
  • Present trends and forecasts at SteerCo, Operational Governance, and Service Review meetings.
  • Maintain RAID (Risks, Action Items, Assumptions, Dependencies) requirements for continuous improvement.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Partner with Financial & Vendor Management teams to assess demand impacts.
  • Inform business cases, budgeting, and investment decisions with planning insights.
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce spending.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 8–12+ years in IT Service Management, Operations, or Program Management.
  • Experience in SIAM or coordinating multi-supplier service environments.
  • Proficiency in ITIL® v4 practices, focusing on Demand & Capacity Management.
  • Track record managing workforce planning and supplier capacity coordination.
  • Skills in cloud, managed services, infrastructure, applications, and service management functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience critical.

Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 2 days/week) Client: Infosys Contract Type: Inside IR35 (for full terms, refer to contractor policy details)
