About the Role
The Demand Generation Manager drives the programs that generate and nurture pipelines, starting with Sideways 6 demand. This hands-on role requires an all-rounder with expertise in:
- Content support
- Paid media (paid search and social)
- Email and nurture flows
- Sales enablement
- HubSpot marketing operations
- Reporting and optimization
Over time, responsibilities will expand to include broader demand-generation programs across the wider business. This role reports directly to the Director, Demand Generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand programs: Plan and execute end-to-end demand campaigns — initially for Sideways 6, later growing to broader programs — from briefing through build, launch, and optimization.
- Email & nurtures: Design and manage email campaigns and nurture flows that move prospects through the funnel.
- Paid media (PPC): Collaborate with the PPC Manager to support and manage paid search and social activities.
- Content support: Coordinate campaign assets in partnership with content owners and product marketing, rather than strategizing content.
- Sales enablement: Supply sales with materials, lists, and follow-up support to convert marketing-generated demand.
- Marketing operations (HubSpot): Oversee daily HubSpot tasks, including workflows, lists, landing pages, lifecycle stages, and data hygiene.
- Reporting & optimization: Track performance across campaigns, channels, and pipelines; report results; and iterate based on data.
- Sideways 6 demand: Serve as the demand lead for Sideways 6, owning its campaigns, optimizations, and reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
