About The Job
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with planning experience gained within a busy, international supply chain/logistics operation and knowledge of planning software, to join our Merchandising team as a Demand Planner.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for optimising the cost of goods by ensuring the right stock is always in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will actively engage cross-functionally to ensure delivery of sales plans by collaborating with commercial partners, wider buying teams, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of goods and material stock keeping units.
- Using your attention to detail and desire to constantly seek ways to improve processes while simplifying complexity will help you to coordinate hub stock with demand.
- You will minimise costs and prevent disruptions to release schedules and on-shelf availability to customers.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with planning software.
- Ability to positively cope with whatever is thrown at you, and remain objective and free of personal bias.
- Ideally, you will have a CIPS level 2 or 3 plus demonstrable experience in a planning/scheduling role.
