About the Role
We’re seeking a Horticulture Demand Planner to play a crucial role in ensuring our horticultural products—from fresh flowers and plants to seasonal produce—are delivered at the right time, place, and in the right quantities for our customers.
This is not just planning: it’s shaping the backbone of some of our biggest trading events, from Valentine’s Day to Easter, Christmas and peak gardening seasons. - Develop accurate forecasts and supply plans for flowers, plants, and seasonal produce, ensuring efficiency across our distribution and store network
- Lead event-driven planning, aligning promotions, seasonal peaks, and supply logistics to maximise sales impact
- Align supply with category sales plans through effective forecasting and replenishment strategies
- Build and nurture cross-functional partnerships with Commercial, Logistics, suppliers, and internal teams
- Analyse trends and trading performance, identifying risks and opportunities while making data-backed decisions on availability, stock, waste, and inventory
- Optimise supply chains for cost-efficiency without compromising service

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
