Dementia Support Worker
Extraordinary People, Exceptional Care
Support Worker (Dementia)
Location: Lansbury Court Care Home, Parkhouse Avenue, Castletown, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, SR5 3DF Role: Support Worker – Nights (22–44 hours per week) Experience Required: NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Health and Social Care + 6 months dementia care experience
Key Responsibilities
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Support residents in daily activities and leisure pursuits to enrich their lives
- Provide personal care with empathy and sensitivity
- Receive specialist dementia training to enhance your skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care
