Demi Chef de Partie – Food and Beverage & Culinary Role

About the Role

We are hiring for the role of Demi Chef de Partei, a key position in the culinary team responsible for executing high standards in food preparation and service.

The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing and cooking meals, managing portioning and presentation, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Quality Control

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items as required
  • Control oven, broiler, grille, and roasting temperatures
  • Thaw frozen ingredients in the refrigerator as needed
  • Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing of dishes
  • Maintain accurate food logs and track inventory
  • Monitor food quality and quantity to meet standards
  • Adjust for busy periods and communicate assistance needs to the Chef de Partie
  • Report excess food for inclusion in daily specials
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage (F&B) service staff to inform them of menu changes or unavailable items
  • Adhere to strict food quality, recipe guidelines, and presentation standards

Physical Demands

  • Stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • Perform overhead reaches, bending, twisting, and lifting tasks
  • Lift, carry, move, and place objects equal to or less than 25 pounds without assistance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education – Technical, trade, or vocational school degree (relevant to culinary arts)
  • Experience –
    • 3+ years in a related culinary role
    • No formal supervisory experience required
  • Licenses/Certifications – None mandatory
