Dental Nurse / Receptionist (Part-Time): Mixed NHS and Private Practice

Salary: From £13.50 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a friendly, well-established mixed NHS and private dental practice seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join their close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse who enjoys working in a supportive environment and is happy to begin with reception duties before progressing into a clinical nursing role as the private side of the practice continues to grow.

Working Hours: Part Time to begin with.

  • Thursday: 8:45am - 5:15pm
  • Friday: 8:45am - 4:00pm

There is the opportunity to increase to Wednesdays (8:45am - 5:15pm) from September, with further additional hours becoming available as the practice expands its clinical team. Flexibility to provide occasional cover on other days would be highly advantageous.

The Role

  • Providing a warm and professional welcome to patients.
  • Managing reception duties, appointments, and patient enquiries.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
  • Progressing into chairside dental nursing as the role develops.
  • Always delivering exceptional patient care.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Dental Nurse with at least two years post-qualification experience.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional.
  • A genuine team player who enjoys working within a small, supportive team.
  • Hard-working, reliable, and willing to adapt as the role evolves.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and happy to support the practice where needed.
