Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to lead the nurses on-site within a range of services to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the patients and prepare them for the procedure.
  • Preparing the work area for patient treatment.
  • Preparing dental materials and instruments for the dentist.
  • Assisting the dentist during patient treatment.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments.
  • Disinfecting the work area and taking care of material used during treatment (instrument reprocessing).
  • Managing the clinic’s appointments daily and shifts.
  • Taking 3D scans under the dentist’s supervision.
  • Looking after patient records - including making notes when the dentist is examining a patient.
  • Performing clerical and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Previous dental nursery experience.
  • Previous experience in patient care.
  • Previous experience in the orthodontic industry will be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical policies and procedures governing teams duties.
  • Knowledge and proven practice in disinfection and sterilisation techniques.
  • Friendly and gentle manner, ability to relate and give absolute care to our patients.
  • Excellent organisational and management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and use of PC and common software applications.
