We are recruiting a Dental Nurse to join us on a full time contract.
You will make a difference in this role as you'll be part of a busy, multidisciplinary team which covers Restorative, Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery for our patients.
You will be supported by the Head Dental Nurse, Dental nurse specialists, registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to undertake all relevant aspects of dental nursing and patient management: and be expected to act in an accountable manner, adhering to relevant codes of conduct and Trust policies.
We are looking for a well organised team member, who has an understanding of evidence based practice and is also able to use their own initiative as well as in a team.
You should be able to lay out, clear and reset dental equipment, ensuring that all infection prevention and effective control measures are met. Organise workload to give timely and appropriate care, recognising when appropriate to share.
In This Key Role, You Will
- Act in a supportive, informative and sensitive manner towards patients, relatives, visitors and colleagues at all times.
- Act as a role model demonstrating high standards of holistic care and provide clinical leadership in relevant clinical areas.
- Be able to communicate with a variety, adapting styles of communication to meet the needs of patients, relatives and carers, managers, peers and other professions / agencies.
- Using initiative to generate solutions within own and others’ practice to enhance care and treatment.
