Dedicated Dental Nurse – Permanent Position
3-surgery dental practice in Swanage, Dorset
About the Role We are looking for a comp measured and committed Dental Nurse to join our supportive team at a thriving dental practice serving Swanage, Dorset. This is a full-time, permanent role available immediately or from mid-May, ideally Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. There are no evening or weekend commitments.
The practice caters to a diverse patient base, including NHS, private, and family patients, providing a dynamic environment for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists in clinical duties, including chairside support.
- administrating local anaesthetics, patricular care for anxiety patients, and radiography where applicable.
- Maintaining strict infection control procedures and dental records.
- Providing holistic patient care and advice.
- Handling front-office administration where required.

Requirements
- Essential:
- Must hold valid GDC registration (required for qualified candidates).
- Desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience working in general dentistry, supporting extractions or orthodontic treatments.
- Familiarity with radiography processes.
- Practical dental nursing experience, with newly qualified and trainees welcome.
- Legal permission to work in the UK (Rights to Work/checkin required; no sponsorship possible).
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Remuneration
- £12.21 to £13.25/hour, depending on experience and credentials.
