About the Role
We are looking for a professional individual to deliver high-quality customer service to ensure that all patients have a pleasant and efficient experience from first to final contact with the practice. You will contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the non-clinical aspects of the practice with particular focus on patient care, administration, and clinical compliance.
The position is a key member of the non-clinical team and will proactively implement policies and procedures to ensure continual improvement of service which will encourage our patients to recommend us to others.
You will be required to actively support the wider work and initiatives of Obex and carry out any other duties as required by the role.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and other visitors, ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
- Proactively implement policies and procedures to ensure continual improvement of service.
- Keep all non-clinical areas and all equipment as clean and tidy.
- Carry out or organise routine planned preventative maintenance of all equipment within the practice.
- Ensure the maintenance of the practice computer system and ensure records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
- Assist with the induction and training of all team members.
- Prepare management information e.g., daily appointment analysis

External: External suppliers and their representatives, Patients, CQC, Key influencers
Person Specification
Knowledge And Experience
- Experience working in a customer-facing role is desirable
- Knowledge of Exact/SOE desirable
Education and Qualification(s)
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Skills And Attributes

- Demonstrable ‘can do’ attitude
- Customer focused approach
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities and projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships

Package Details
- Salary from £12.75 per hour up to £15.00 per hour
