About the Role: Havelon Expert Healthcare Professional Consultant

As a Haleon Expert Healthcare Professional Consultant, your role will be to:

  • Build relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to drive awareness, advocacy, and recommendation of Haleon Consumer Healthcare brands to their patients by communicating product science and patient-end benefits.
  • Deliver category, condition, and brand education for Haleon’s key therapeutic areas to UK HCPs, targeting and segmenting them based on account potential and willingness to recommend.
  • Partner with HCPs across the Dental channel to drive advocacy of Haleon Oral Healthcare brands, including Sensodyne, Corsodyl, Pronamel, and others, engaging with:
    • Dentists
    • Dental Hygienists/ Therapists
  • Applicants must be based in one of the requirement areas to be shortlisted. Suitable postcodes include: OX, NN, MK, HP, LU, SG, CB.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and deliver best-in-class educational sessions across various channels, including:
    • Face-to-face and remote engagements
    • Detailed consultations and insights ("detailing")
    • Lunch & Learns
    • Larger forums and events
  • Maintain high call quality standards through:
    • Field visit assessments
    • Expert Performance Tracking
    • Sales Force Effectiveness surveys
  • Ensure accurate records of calls and engagements via internal systems and territory management tools.
  • Support Haleon at exhibitions, events, and PR initiatives to align with business objectives and promote new strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and insights on expert market developments, including competitor intelligence.
  • Continuously propose improvements to field team practices and focus areas.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required, including:
    • Overnight trips
    • Evening and weekend work
  • Strict adherence to all Haleon Ethics and Code of Conduct policies.

Strategic Planning

  • Align with HCP channel, Field Sales team, and wider Haleon strategy within evolving HCP environments.
  • Formulate and execute a business plan for the territory, ensuring:
    • Maximum engagement coverage
    • Effective segmentation and targeting strategies
  • Drive influential partnerships with Dental HCPs to recommend best-in-class patient solutions.

Influencing & Collaboration

  • Help Dental HCPs make informed patient treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Practice Managers, Team Leaders, and Business Owners to organise and execute:
    • Group educational meetings
    • “Lunch & Learns” showcasing product inspections and treatments
  • Champion the Haleon Expert Field Team, embodying and modelling Haleon culture and behaviours.

Commercial Acumen

  • Engage and reinforce commercial and patient-centric benefits with key decision-makers.
  • Optimise use of resources to drive high-efficiency workflows internally and with external partners.
  • Deliver individual KPIs while contributing to total Field Team objectives in a commercial sense.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Degree qualifiction or experience within the Dental Industry.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for:
    • Consultations before varied-sized audience sizes
    • Both in-person and remote engagements.
  • Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
  • Proficiency in HCP/medical commercial environments.

Preferred (Bonus)

  • Prior Dental Industry experience or sales outreach experience in B2B settings.
  • Background in Consumer Healthcare, Oral Healthcare, or FMCG industries.
