About the Role
As a Haleon Expert Healthcare Professional Consultant, your role will be to:
- Build relationships to drive Healthcare Professional (HCP) awareness, advocacy, and recommendation of Haleon Consumer Healthcare brands to their patients.
- Communicate product science and patient-end benefits.
You will:
- Deliver category, condition, and brand education of Haleon’s key therapeutic areas to UK Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), who you will target and segment based on account potential and willingness to recommend.
- Partner with HCPs across both the dental channel, driving advocacy of Haleon Oral Healthcare brands (Sensodyne, Corsodyl, Pronamel, etc.) to various HCPs, including (but not limited to):
- Dentists
- Dental Hygienists
- Therapists

- Deliver best-in-class educational sessions using all engagement channels and platforms, including:
- Face-to-face and remote interactions
- Detailing, flavourful Lunch & Learns
- Larger forums
- Drive social media engagement in line with digital strategy
- Ensure consistent in-call quality, measured through:
- Field visit assessments
- Expert-Performance Tracking tools
- Sales Force Effectiveness surveys
Record all calls and work details systematically using internal systems.
- Actively support Haleon at Exhibitions/Events/PR initiatives.
- Report on HCP environments and competitor intelligence and advocate field team improvements.
- Undertake additional duties as required, including overnight travel and weekend work, while ensuring strict compliance with Haleon’s policies and ethical code.
Strategic Planning
- Align with Haleon’s HCP channel, sales teams, and business opportunities within the ever-evolving HCP environment.
- Develop and implement a territory business plan for optimal HCP engagement, ensuring targeted segmentation.
Influencing & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to partner with and support dental HCPs for patient recommendations.
- Coordinate with Practice Managers, Team Leaders, and Business Owners to organise:
- Group educational meetings
- “Lunch and Learns”
- Product presentations and sampling
- Serve as a consistent ambiassdor representing Haleon’s field team, exemplifying Haleon behaviours.
Commercial Acumen
- Clearly articulate commercial and patient benefits to all decision-makers (internally and externally).
- Ensure efficient resource use to optimise ways of working (internal and external).
- Achieve and contribute to KPI targets to support Field Team goals.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential
- Degree or significant experience in the dental industry.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills when engaging diverse audiences, both in face-to-face and remote environments.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Preferred
- Experience in a sales representative role within field-based HCP or commercial environments.
- Understanding and prior experience in Consumer Healthcare and Oral Healthcare Marketplaces.
- Familiarity with FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) markets.
