Experienced Restorative Dental Therapist

Are you an experienced dental therapist who enjoys restorative dentistry and wants to work somewhere that fully recognises your clinical skills?
At Taylored Dental Care, we are moving to a genuinely therapy-led model of care. This is not a role where therapy is an afterthought or where your diary is filled almost entirely with routine hygiene appointments. Our therapists are central to the patient journey and are supported to work to the full extent of their scope.
We are looking for a confident and experienced dental therapist who is comfortable providing high-quality restorative treatment, including complex direct restorations, alongside periodontal care and routine dental examinations.
You will work closely with a supportive team of dentists, therapists, nurses and treatment coordinators, with clear clinical pathways and appropriate dentist support whenever required.
The role
Your clinical work may include:
- Routine dental examinations and treatment planning within your scope
- Advanced anterior and posterior composite restorations
- Management of more complex restorative cases
- Periodontal assessment and treatment
- Preventive and minimally invasive dentistry
- Radiographs and clinical photography
- Working alongside dentists on coordinated patient treatment plans
- Supporting the continued development of our therapy-led model

We are particularly interested in someone who takes pride in creating well-contoured, functional and aesthetic restorations and who is confident managing a varied clinical diary.
About you
You will be:
- GDC registered as a dental therapist
- Experienced in restorative dentistry
- Confident carrying out complex direct restorations
- Comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek support
- Committed to high clinical standards and excellent patient communication
- Calm, kind and reassuring, particularly with nervous patients
- Interested in developing your skills and contributing to a progressive clinical model
- A supportive team member who enjoys working collaboratively
Experience is essential for this position. Additional training in composite dentistry, periodontal care, clinical photography or digital dentistry would be welcomed, although your attitude, clinical ability and commitment to excellent patient care are what matter most.
