Role Description

The Dentist board member will serve on the company’s board, providing clinical expertise and strategic guidance for dental-related investments and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves collaborating with other board members and senior leaders to develop policies, oversee clinical governance, and ensure regulatory and ethical standards are met. The Dentist board member will:

  • Participate in regular board meetings
  • Contribute to high-level decision-making
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams and corporate leadership

This is a role that is subject to initially only receiving a percentage of the business of Zayven Capital Ltd, upon their first successful acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Licensed dentist with significant clinical experience in general or specialist dentistry.
  • GDC registered or HIW Registered.
  • Experience in practice management, including operations, patient care standards, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical governance frameworks, and quality assurance in dentistry.
  • Background or strong interest in business, M&A, or healthcare management, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proven board, committee, or senior leadership experience, with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manchester and commit to a full-time schedule.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in dentistry, healthcare management, or business administration are an advantage.
