Department Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Department Manager to join an internationally renowned luxury fashion house. This role is ideal for a commercially driven leader with a passion for women's ready-to-wear, exceptional client service, and developing high-performing teams.
Working within a flagship boutique, you will lead by example on the shop floor, delivering an elevated client experience while driving commercial performance and maintaining the highest standards of luxury retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop a team of Client Advisors to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Drive sales performance, productivity and profitability, ensuring departmental and individual KPIs are achieved.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with local and international clients through proactive clienteling and personalised service.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, coaching and performance development of the team, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example through active selling, styling and product storytelling.
- Analyse trading performance and identify opportunities to maximise sales, conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
- Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and presentation standards are maintained in line with brand expectations.
- Oversee daily operational activities, including stock management, compliance, cash handling and inventory control.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.
- Support the planning and execution of exclusive client events, appointments and in-store activations.

- Previous management experience within luxury fashion, premium retail or a high-service client environment.
- Strong background in women's ready-to-wear with a genuine passion for luxury fashion and styling.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop successful retail teams.
- Demonstrable success in achieving commercial targets and driving business growth.
- Highly skilled in clienteling, relationship building and developing loyal client portfolios.
- Confident working with high-net-worth and international clientele.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to analyse performance and implement effective action plans.
- Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working within a fast-paced flagship environment.
- A polished and professional ambassador with a passion for delivering exceptional luxury experiences.
