Department Manager | Customer-Focused Retail
Location: North Norfolk Salary: £30,000 - £31,500
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Department Manager to join a forward-thinking, customer-led retailer dedicated to delivering exceptional service and a seamless shopping experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a retail department, driving performance, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive team dynamic while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the department, leading from the front to set standards and inspire your team.
- Ensure commercial targets are met while maintaining outstanding customer experience, merchandising, and store presentation.
- Oversee sales performance, visual merchandising, and overall store appearance and engagement.
- Coach, develop, and motivate employees to build a strong team culture and drive results.
- Support operational excellence across all aspects of the business.

Requirements
- Proven management experience in a customer-focused retail environment.
- Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- Experience in a multi-product or fast-paced retail setting (desirable).
- A passion for exceptional customer service and commitment to high standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to drive sales and performance while maintaining operational efficiency.
