Department Manager – H&M York

Permanent position, 39-hour workweek, based in H&M York (on-call 7 days, including weekends)

About the Role

As a Department Manager, you’ll lead your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving operational and commercial success. Your role spans sales analysis, strategic planning, team development, and visual merchandising—ensuring an inclusive and collaborative culture that meets H&M’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your team in delivery outstanding customer experiences through strong operational and visual standards.
  • Analyse sales performance, identify commercial opportunities, and set goals to optimise profits, stock levels, and results.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a talented team while fostering inclusivity and innovation.
  • Monitor your store’s strengths, competitor trends, and local market demands to adapt strategies effectively.
  • Collaborate with area teams, HQ, and business functions to drive store performance and company growth.
