Software Engineer (Graduate – Senior) | Deployed Software
Location: London (primarily office-based with customer travel)
We're partnering with a rapidly growing deep-tech company developing cutting-edge software used in demanding operational environments. Their platform combines AI, data and distributed systems to help organisations make faster, smarter decisions where reliability is critical.
As the team continues to grow, they're looking for Software Engineers at all levels—from recent graduates eager to launch their careers through to experienced and senior engineers looking to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
If you enjoy solving difficult engineering problems, working closely with users and seeing your software deployed in real-world environments, this is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact.
The Role
As a Deployed Software Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of software engineering and customer delivery, helping build, deploy and support mission-critical applications used in complex environments.
You'll collaborate with engineers, product teams and end users to deliver new functionality, solve technical problems and continuously improve the platform through real-world feedback.
Depending on your experience, you'll receive the support or autonomy needed to succeed—from structured mentorship as a graduate through to leading technical initiatives as a senior engineer.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy high-quality software.
- Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.
- Support software deployments and integrations in customer environments.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver robust solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical discussions.
- Maintain high standards of testing, code quality and security.
- Travel to customer sites when required.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with engineers across a range of experience levels.
Graduates
Graduates should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or another technical discipline.
- Strong programming fundamentals.
- Experience with projects, internships or placements demonstrating software development skills.
- Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Experienced & Senior Engineers
Experienced & Senior Engineers should have:
- Commercial software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++ or Rust.
- Experience designing and delivering production software.
- The ability to solve complex technical problems independently.

Bonus Experience
Experience in any of the following is beneficial:
- Kubernetes or containerised infrastructure.
- PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.

- Embedded systems or hardware integration.
- Machine learning or AI applications.
- Secure software development practices.

Additional Information
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must also be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance, which typically requires at least five years of continuous UK residency.
