Deployment data quality lead

Why Greencore?  Following the combination with Bakkavor in January 2026, we’re one of the UK’s leading creators of convenience food, driven by a simple purpose: to make everyday taste better. As a vibrant and fast-moving business, we’re proud to employ over 28,000 talented colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and the US. Together, we bring delicious food to life. Our products cover every meal occasion from breakfast through to dinner and dessert, with lunch and snacking in between. In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.

Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop. Why is this an exciting time to be a Deployment Data Quality Lead at Greencore?

The Deployment Data Quality Lead will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s ERP transformation programme and part code change initiative. Working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and the wider programme team, the role will be responsible for understanding business data requirements, improving data quality, supporting data governance activities, and leading data migration activities into SAP S/4 HANA. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business teams and technical/data migration teams, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, governed, and fit for purpose throughout the transformation lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
