Job Description
About the Team & Business Line:
Citco Custody (UK) Limited (CCUK) provides depositary and custody services to Citco Funds Services clients with over $45bn in net assets. Operating in strategic global centers, Citco Fund Services provides clients with access to best of breed processes and technology of which CCUK plays an important role. As a core member of our Depositary management team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience a seamless delivery of all elements of our depositary and custody services.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Establish and maintain appropriate control environment to ensure the CCUK fulfils its depositary obligations to the highest standards in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure adherence to all policies & procedures.
- Perform comprehensive independent reviews of Cash flows, Net Asset Valuations, Safekeeping and Investment & Borrowing Restrictions.
- Review and sign-off on all Depositary Administrator work including cash flow monitoring, safekeeping of assets and investment compliance reviews.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure error/breaches are recorded and resolved in a timely manner, as well as ensure prompt escalation to management of any issues.
- Work with clients to resolve queries and escalate any issues, building client relationships.
- Provide weekly departmental reporting to management, as well as assisting in the preparation of quarterly board reports.
- Assist with compilation of material for SOC testing, on-site reviews and annual audit.
- Assist with training, development and motivation of the team to ensure a positive working environment.
- Identify and propose procedural enhancements while supporting the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Interact with Group Compliance in relation to queries and the delivery of the compliance monitoring plan.
- Participate in the on-site inspections of AIFM, administrators and ongoing due diligence of sub-custodians.
- Attend client service meetings / board meetings.

Qualifications
- Third level business / finance / legal qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ depositary services experience within the funds industry.
- Have experience working with some of the following asset classes - private equity, infrastructure, debt or real estate investment funds.
- Strong team player with commitment to deliver outstanding client service.
- In depth knowledge of depositary duties and responsibilities.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal effectiveness.
- Strong written and spoken English.
