About Your Role

If you are a skilled, hands on, experienced generator Engineer with an eye for detail who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to make a real impact, this role is for you!

With your strong communication skills, and proactive approach, we are looking for you to come join our fantastic team at CES Power! You'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, servicing and repairing generators, tanks cables, BSU and distribution boards at our depot in Glasgow which will bring a mix of troubleshooting, problem solving and travel.

What you'll be doing You'll undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators, tanks cables, BSU and distribution boards at our depot in Glasgow to ensure performance and reliability With your problem solving abilities, you will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalate to the Technical Team for additional support if things are a little tricker. Safely travel to customer sites and carry out planned, and reactive work, delivering great customer service and support, whatever the event As someone who can work independently, you will prioritise your workload, and ensure you have the right tools for the job to maximise first time fixes, every time Rapid deployment of road tow generators to customer sites and installing when required

What you'll bring You will bring your proactive and problem-solving abilities, ready to take on any challenge NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry As an experienced engineer, your own tools...that one's kinda important! Maybe this one goes without saying, but a drivers license, too!
