About The Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Electrician to join our fast-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in solar PV and battery energy storage systems who is looking to develop their career within the renewable energy sector.
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems
- Carrying out major and minor repairs on battery energy storage systems
- Fault finding on extra-low voltage (ELV) and low-voltage (LV) systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure full compliance with BS 7671
- Ensuring all equipment leaves the yard in excellent condition and to the highest standard
- Safely isolating and indicating extra-low and low voltages
- Working efficiently under pressure while contributing positively to a team environment

What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 regulations
- Basic working knowledge of solar PV and battery storage systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with battery energy storage systems (BESS) (Desirable)
- Previous experience in renewable energy or solar environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude

- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
