Depot Manager – Join the Middleton Team!

Our depots are the backbone of our operation, ensuring seamless logistics and top-notch service for our customers. Whether you’re handling parcels, coordinating routes, or managing depot operations, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards and efficiency.

Requirements
We’re searching for an exceptional operational leader, someone who thrives in a high-energy, 24/7 logistics environment and drives performance to the next level.
Ideal Candidates Will Bring:
- Proven success in fast-paced, round-the-clock operations, demonstrating resilience, composure, and the ability to lead under pressure
- A natural curiosity and drive to innovate—you enjoy challenging the status quo and delivering smarter, better ways of working
- Strong leadership experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain, ideally within a depot or large operational site
- Ability to manage sizeable teams and build high-performing, collaborative cultures
- A deep understanding of operational efficiency, using data, process improvement, and people leadership to enhance service quality and customer experience
- Excellent financial acumen, including budget management, cost control, and profitability contributions
- A solid grasp of regulatory and compliance requirements, including health & safety, driver regulations, and industry standards
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build relationships, and work with Operational Directors
- A results-driven mindset, with strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
- Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment
