Join our team as an Operations Manager in Gloucestershire
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Depot Operations Manager to be based at one of our three Gloucestershire depots (Cheltenham, Gloucester, or Stroud). In this role, you will lead, inspire, and support our team.
Our Gloucestershire depots operate a diverse network of urban, rural, and inter-urban routes, helping to connect communities and enabling millions of passenger journeys every year.
You will be joining an outstanding Operations Team at a particularly exciting time for the business. With ongoing developments, including our transition towards a more sustainable and modern operation, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent operational performance, maintaining high standards of service for our customers, and fostering a strong culture of safety. You will play a key role in ensuring our people feel supported, engaged, and empowered, while keeping both colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do.

To succeed, you will need a strong track record in team leadership and a proven ability to deliver operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and ensure the welfare of our driving team Plan and deliver a cost-effective, customer-focused daily operation. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and high-quality service. Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager to drive overall depot performance.
What We’re Looking For:
An experienced Operations Manager, ready for a new challenge. Transport Manager CPC Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards it). Strong communication skills with the ability to lead with confidence and clarity. Working knowledge of allocation systems and relevant transport legislation. A calm, capable approach to typical management challenges.
