Job Profile Summary
Responsible for providing support to the Underwriting team especially to interpret, prepare and analyse underwriting data to provide comprehensive modelling information to support the underwriting process
Job Description
- Supporting Class and other Underwriters in all aspects of the underwriting and management of the account
- Coordination and quality control with Risk Admin
- Modelling of PV risks
- Liaison with Credit control department
- Preparation and monitoring of peer review meetings
- Maintenance of risk history involving organisation and filing
- Assisting with special projects
- Keeping aggregate exposure records
- Preparation of statistics
- Assisting other PV Class underwriters as appropriate.
- Assisting the PV Unit Head with management data monitoring.

Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all policies and procedures and ensure that due regard is paid to providing good customer outcomes and the fair treatment of customers.
Skills and Competencies
- Lloyd's Market Box / Syndicate Experience
- Other insurance experience
- Mathematics, Data and Analytical Skills
- Intermediate Excel, Charms and Charisma
- Understanding of the risks being taken
- Able to communicate with different levels and is adaptable
- Works as part of a team
Education
- Fully or almost qualified ACII qualification - job holders will be expected to achieve Associateship in a reasonable period of time
