Deputy Editor Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent Working pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Role Outline The Deputy Editor will work across two established and highly respected titles: ADS Advance – the ADS member magazine, both print and digital AGN: Aerospace Global News – a leading international digital news platform
This is a high‑profile role supporting the continued evolution of Aerospace Global News and contributing to ADS Advance Magazine. You will help ensure our content is influential, compelling and world‑class, serving an audience that looks to Farnborough International for objective and authoritative guidance on the aerospace sector.
The Candidate We’re looking for a confident and capable B2B journalist who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable engaging at senior industry levels.

A degree or equivalent professional experience A minimum of three years’ experience as a B2B journalist across print and digital Experience covering aerospace and/or defence-related industries Excellent writing, editing and proof‑reading skills Strong CMS knowledge and technical publishing competence A good understanding of SEO and digital best practice Strong digital and social marketing awareness, with a focus on optimisation and performance A collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo Experience of people management (desirable but not essential)
