About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of store operations. Our DGMs lead our teams, maintain our standards, and ensure the BEST experience for our guests.

You will serve as a vital link in our Fridays Family, paving the way for your future role in running your own restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and inspiring the performance of the store team through TGI Fridays’ values.
  • Overseeing aspects of the store’s operation, including:
    • People
    • Guest Experience
    • Sales & Profit
    • Operations
    • Health & Safety
    • Property
  • Ensuring TGI Fridays’ standards are maintained and restaurant performance meets targets.
  • Creating an engaging environment where teams and guests feel valued, loyal, and celebrated.
  • Leading by example and setting the tone as a cultural ambassador for TGI Fridays.
  • Proven potential to advance into higher leadership roles, including future Deputy General Managers and beyond.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Solid experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leadership and excellent results.
  • Exceptional talent for delivering a guest-obsessed culture, making every guest feel valued.
  • Detailed knowledge of restaurant and hospitality operations.
  • A strong history of leading teams to success.
  • Proficient financial skills, including:
    • Managing audits and due diligence.
    • Handling budgets, labour controls, and forecasting.
  • Sharp commercial acumen, driving sales and ensuring business results are achieved.
  • Quick problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills—cultivating strong team leadership and making guests feel delighted.
