Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary (£34,000 per annum)
- Generous competitive bonus, with £31,000–£34,000 OTE scaled to £37,000 max

About Yard Sale Pizza (YSP)
YSP began as a backyard supper club in Hackney (2014) and now operates across 17 neighbourhoods, serving delivery, dine-in and takeaway. Known for bold collaborations — partnering with artists, chefs, musicians and local eateries to perfect the legendary pizza — winners include:
- Time Out Love London MMXVI (London’s most-loved restaurant)
- The Guardian Food Monthly (2017) (Best Cheap Eats winner)
- Time Out (2022) (Voted London’s favourite pizza in the Clash of the Slices)
The Role
Based at our Walthamstow site in a brick-and-glass heritage building (official "yard" deck upon entry), the shop is our biggest to date and a community favourite.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the GM during peak/busy shifts, handling operational responsibilities
- Lead independently during the GM’s absence
- Moteivate staff and uphold high-energy culture
- Excel in customer experience with proactive, above-and-beyond service
- Assist in:
- Weekly reports
- Shop inventory & order management
- Team performance appraisals & development
Requirements & Qualities
- Proven experience as a Deputy Manager (preferably in a fast-paced casual dining/taakeaway setting)
- Excellent food hygiene & health & safety knowledge
- Leading Team traits – charismatic, enthusiastic, and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong hands-on experience with pit stop type/SOHO kitchens advantageous
- Advancement mindset – serious ambition to progress to General Manager role
