Deputy Head of Conveyancing
Fully Remote (UK) | Optional London Office
£85,000–£95,000 + Exceptional Bonus + Private Health Insurance + Flexible Working
We're exclusively partnering with one of the UK's most exciting and ambitious legal businesses to appoint a Deputy Head of Conveyancing.
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded, high-growth firm that is challenging traditional conveyancing by combining exceptional legal expertise with innovative technology and an unwavering commitment to customer experience.
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal Practice, you'll become a key member of the senior leadership team, taking ownership of compliance, governance and operational oversight while helping to build the next generation of a modern conveyancing practice.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain compliance frameworks. We're looking for a leader who understands that outstanding customer outcomes and robust regulatory standards go hand in hand. You'll help create the systems, processes and culture that enable both.
The Head of Legal Practice has been instrumental in the firm's success and is now looking for a trusted deputy to take ownership of much of the compliance and oversight function, allowing them to focus on strategic growth. You'll have genuine influence over how the legal function evolves, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving and leading.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
