Senior Analyst – Digital Intelligence (Pharmacy and Medicines)
We are seeking an experienced senior analyst to provide dedicated digital intelligence leadership for Pharmacy and Medicines, supporting the safe, effective, and value-based use of medicines across Cheshire and Merseyside secondary care.
This is a key post within Digital Services, partnering with senior Pharmacy and Medicines colleagues to deliver high-quality, high-reliability reporting, insight, and modelling that informs operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of bespoke intelligence solutions for Pharmacy and Medicines, including dashboards and reporting.
- Manage an analyst resource, providing specialist expertise in:
- NHS data management
- Medicines reporting
- Advanced analytics techniques
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable advice for:
- Clinicians
- Senior managers
- Executive teams
- Ensure robust governance, assurance, and continuous improvement through reliable data analysis.
- Provide expert statistical and forecasting analysis to support:
- Planning for medicines usage
- Performance improvement initiatives
- Guarantee that all reporting is:
- Accurate
- Secure
- Robust and fit-for-purpose
- Aligned with strong information governance protocols
- Act as a trusted business partner to Pharmacy leadership, supporting:
- Medicines governance
- Assurance frameworks
- Value improvement efforts
- Communicate analytical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive boards.
- Contribute to:
- Service improvement initiatives
- Benchmarking activities
- Compliance and external reporting/audit readiness
- Represent the Digital Intelligence service at internal and external forums, facilitating cross-system collaboration.
