Location: Selwyn Hall School, Foxton, Cambridge
Salary: From £45,000, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start date: ASAP

- Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the school, with a strong focus on inclusion and differentiated instruction for SEND students
- Assessing, monitoring, recording, and reporting on pupil learning needs, progress, and achievements
- Participating in examination preparation and arrangements for external assessments
- Supporting the whole-school curriculum strategy, organisation, and development

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND
- Secondary teaching experience, preferably including Exams Officer duties
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive curricula for young people with SEND
- Deep understanding of behaviour management, including practical experience in delivering calm, therapeutic guidance for students affected by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma
- Strong background in leading and managing teams with an emphasis on compassionate, therapeutic leadership
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to foster inclusivity among staff, students, and families

- Previous experience in senior or middle leadership roles
