As a Deputy Manager, you’ll be a key player in driving operational success in one of our most dynamic stores. Working alongside your Store Manager, you’ll lead by example, empowering your team to meet and exceed targets while delivering exceptional service.
Post: Deputy Manager Contracted Hours: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £30,977.00 per annum
What You’ll Do
With Talent, Passion, and Spark, you’ll:
- Lead by example—exemplify great customer service and coach your team to deliver the same
- Work closely with the Store Manager to meet daily, weekly, and yearly targets, keeping the team focused on store success
- Review store performance and action plans to address challenges
- Ensure secure opening and closing of the store, adhering to security protocols and overseeing key holders
- Assist in rota preparation and staff scheduling
- Support the Store Manager in managing stock inventory, implementing measures to minimise loss
- Foster a culture of growth and development by mentoring staff and setting them up for success
- Play a key role in talent recruitment, identifying those with Passion and Spark to build a strong, high-performing team

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who brings Talent, Passion, and Spark. It’s a bonus if you:
- Have proven management experience, including roles as an Assistant or Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment
- Passionate about teamwork and high performance, able to coach and develop a large team
- Enjoy strategic thinking and hands-on store management—Toxic to bureaucracy, excited by action and results
- Deliver exceptional customer service to meet our high standards
- Understand KPIs—tracks sales, service, profit & loss (P&L) and can analyse performance
- Have a commercial mindset, balancing operational efficiency with business growth
- Available to work flexible patterns, including weekends when required
